February 11th 2013

Have you the fairest of them all?

Melbourne Bikefest are always on the hunt for the most stylish of steeds, and the Best in Show competition will find the most beautiful of them all!

The Best in Show competition returns for 2013, looking for the most interesting, creative and beautiful bicycles and their owners in the following categories: Hot Rods (customised, dragsters), Beauty Queens (accessorised to the nines), Speed Machines (carbon, steel, track, road rides), City Cruiser (cruisers, weekend rides) and Vintage Bikes.

To enter, simply roll up to either the Bikefest Treadlie Market (15 - 17 Feb in Birrarung Marr) or the Port Melbourne Bikefest (Sun 3 Mar in Bay St, Port Melbourne), pose for a pic at the Treadlie Magazine Photo Booth and be in the running to win!

The bicycles and stylist owners with the most votes will be invited to the Grande Finale at the Shadow Electric Bikefest Village Picnic (9 March, Abbotsford Convent), the final Melbourne Bikefest event for 2013.

Winners will receive a Knog prize pack, including a Hot Dog Bag, Patch Kit, set of Beetle bicycle lights and a Melbourne Cycling cap - and there might even be a few spot prizes throughout Bikefest for inspiring entries.

Voting will take place on the Roll Up Facebook Page (facebook.com/rolluprollup), so stay tuned for the entries!

At Knog we are excited to announce that we have recently wrapped up a collaboration with New York based Australian illustrator Karan Singh (Wake up Mr.Singh).

The campaign inspired by 'A nostalgic look of the future' looks at capturing the technology, strength and reliability of the new Blinder. Karan was able to capture the essence of this through his bold, colourful layered illustration style which really caught the essence of the new Knog Blinder.

These illustrations centre around the four elements of the Blinder - Waterproof, Solid, Rechargeable and Bright.

In the coming weeks we will launch a  full campaign which we are all very excited about, so come back and check it out or follow up on Twitter and Facebook for updates. In the meantime this is a snippet of what you can expect.
