I primarily got these for my son to use when joining me on his bike whilst I'm running, so him being visible was the main requirement. They do this really well. A few points:
- I really like the USB charging of these. Time will tell how they hold up and if the contacts give issues after some weathering.
- The tail light is pretty intense. We had to put it on the dimmest, non-flashing mode to avoid the strobing effect giving me (running behind him at times) a mad headache. Visibility is great!
- On the front, this is the first panel based LED lamp that I use. I'm sure visibility with it in the various modes is good, but this form factor does not work well for you seeing details on the road. I run with a Quokka 150 and the focused beam is much better suited for seeing more details on the path (we avoid roads and cars where possible) even though it spits out less light in total. I will give it a go if I get round to commuting with the bike at some point, but I think there are better options for riding in the dark away from other light sources.
I received my blinder front and rear lights. No problem with the front light. The rear light when charging will not go ‘green light’ ie charging complete. I sent an email to CS and have not heard back/

My first set was purchased a long time ago. I want to say at least 10 years! All things wear out eventually and when these just stopped holding a charge I got my 2nd set.
Hi - I tried to charge my new rear light but it’s dead. Not sure what is wrong? The front light charged fine and it works.
